Surveillance for Emerging Threats to Pregnant People and Infants Network
Surveillance for Emerging Threats to Pregnant People and Infants Network (SET-NET) is a CDC-funded surveillance program that aims to identify and monitor adverse outcomes of infections in pregnant people, their pregnancies, and their infants or children.
Surveillance
On behalf of SET-NET, IRCID conducts surveillance of emerging or re-emerging infectious threats to pregnant people and their children resulting from a prenatal exposure. This information helps to inform clinical decision making and public health action.

Findings
Information gathered through SET-NET can link health threats during pregnancy to health outcomes of pregnant people and infants. Emerging threats that have been monitored include Zika virus, COVID-19, and cytomegalovirus.
